1. A ladder bookshelf
Instead of spending a lot of money on a store-bought bookshelf, you can make your own unique shelf with two folding ladders and some planks of wood. Just be sure that the planks and ladders are the same sizes.
2. Acrylic painted rug
Do you have a plain rug which just doesn’t fit your home no matter where you put it? Use some acrylic paint and your own creativity to make your own designer fabric piece.
3. Fabric Frame
Give your mirror a frame like no other; put fabric on your mirror frame to give it a warmer and more homely look. You can even use it on picture frames.
4. Bottle cork bulletin board
Make your own custom bulletin board by collecting all those bottle corks, glueing them together and putting them into a picture frame.
5. Fancy shelves
Make some fancy shelves which stand out with some wooden boxes and picture frames. You can use super glue or nails to put them on the walls and to stick the frames to the boxes, whichever you prefer.
6. Rope Shelves
Mix up the rustic and modern look with rope shelving. All you need is a wooden plank with some holes on each side, a sturdy rope, some hook nails and some knot know-how and you are done. Just be careful about how much weight you put on it depending on how well the knots are tied. Also, make sure to check on it regularly.
