Exercise overall has been known to release feel good neurotransmitters such as endorphins, dopamine and serotonin but running specifically – has the magical ability to spark the regeneration of new brain cells!
Why do I say magical?
Because scientist themselves don’t fully understand how it works.
One thing’s for sure; it has helped many people improve their quality of life by beating anxiety and depression.
A study by Cambridge also did an experiment with two groups of mice.
Results show, the group of mice that ran, had TWICE the memory capacity than the idle ones.
