Home buyers will pay more to secure Canadian real estate

Immigrating home buyers will pay more to secure Canadian real estate: Juwai IQI CEO

Our Co-Founder and Group CEO of Juwai IQI, Kashif Ansari, was pleased to join BNN Bloomberg to discuss Canada’s new ban on foreign home buyers.

As a recap, the Canadian government announced by January 1, 2023, the country will prohibit non-Canadians from purchasing domestic property over the next two years as measures to “cool down” overheated housing markets in cities like Vancouver.

During the discussion with BNN, Ansari said this wouldn’t impact Canada’s housing market as those interested in buying have often secured permanent residency.

Watch the video on how dives into his business, how they help to immigrate, Asian families buy properties in Canada and how they will approach real estate in 2023.
